Inclusion at Thornton Dale Primary School:
At Thornton Dale Primary School we celebrate every child's individual strengths, we know no two learners are alike. We provide an enriching curriculum full of opportunities for children with different skills, interests and talents in which to thrive and experience success. We also actively encourage children to be resilient and persevere when faced with difficulties. We know that everyone is good at different things and face different challenges, including children and adults. We often discuss this as a whole school during worship and also in our classes, remembering our Christian values of kindness, friendship and respect. At Thornton Dale, we provide children with a secure and caring environment, and do everything we possibly can to help them to flourish as a unique individual.
Our Special Educational Needs and/or Disability co-ordinator is Miss Camarah Mosey. If you need to speak to her, please make an appointment via the school office or contact us at school on
