Welcome to Year 1

 

In Year One, we love challenging ourselves within our learning, discovering new things and becoming independent learners. In Squirrels Class, we are guided by our school values of friendship, kindness and respect, helping us to build strong, caring relationships with one another. Children are not just growing as learners, but as thoughtful, caring members of our school community.  

 

Throughout the day, all children will have continuous access to a rich range of carefully designed provision areas, enabling them to follow their interests, develop independence and apply their learning in meaningful, hands-on ways.
